There are three levels of instruction and resources:
Level
One consists of shorter stories,
photos, and videos using a 1500-word vocabulary based on the VOA Word Book.
Level
Two contains news, culture, history,
science, and business. Stories in this section come with a quiz for users
to test their comprehension.
Level
Three features more advanced
literature, conversation, education, and writing.

Workshops is a collection of classic plays for advanced learners. (Level Three)

Dedicated program
for VOA audience in specific regions with TESOL-certified instructors. This
program has started in Kenya at the American Resource Center, where VOA offers
a course for English teachers, “Writing for the Internet.” VOA will publish
selected writings from the program on our website, mobile and social media. VOA
will expand the program to other countries in the future. (Level Three)
