Samsun ve Çanakkale İngilizce Eğitimi Çalıştayı

Türkiye ile ABD arasındaki Eğitim İşbirliği Anlaşması kapsamında,
ABD Büyükelçiliği İngilizce Eğitim Ataşeliği 
Samsun’da 21-25 Temmuz ve
Çanakkale’de 28 Temmuz -1 Ağustos tarihleri arasında, çalıştaylar düzenleyecektir.

- Üniversite Hazırlık öğretmenleri,
- 4. Sınıf İngilizce Öğretmenliği öğrencileri,
- özel ve kamu tüm ilk ve orta öğretim kurumlarındaki İngilizce öğretmenleri davetlidir.

Çalıştayın yapılacağı otel adresi katılım için başvuranlara bilahare bildirilecektir

ABD Büyükelçiliği katılanlara eğitimi ve öğle yemeklerini ücretsiz olarak sağlayacak olup, diğer yol ve konaklama katılanlarca
karşılanacaktır.

Training for English Teachers in Samsun and Çanakkale 

The Regional English Language Office of the Embassy of the United States of America is pleased to announce the 2015 Summer English Language Teaching (ELT) Institute in Samsun, July 21-25, 2015 and 28 July- 1 August

Making English Come Alive in the Classroom

The theme of this practical, five-day institute is Making English Come Alive in the Classroom. By the end of the institute, participants will be able to do the following:  1) use music and poetry in the classroom; 2) learn and demonstrate how to make textbooks more exciting and communicative; 3) teach grammar in an interactive, fun way; 4) use a variety of games and speaking activities to energize and motivate their students to speak and participate.  

Certificates and Materials

Participants who complete the entire 5 day program will receive a certificate of completion and some supplementary materials for their classrooms.

Trainers

The institute will be facilitated by Stephanie Hanson, Teaching Specialist at University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.

Costs

The training fee and lunch costs are covered by the RELO Office.  However, participants must pay for their own transportation to and from the Institute training site (Info will be provided later).

Who

We are looking for motivated teachers who want to improve their teaching and make their classes lively.  Ideal candidates should meet the following qualifications:

·         are current full-time English teachers in public and private primary or secondary schools, or university Hazirlik English teachers or 4^th year ELT students.

·         teach in Samsun

·         possess an academic working level of English language proficiency

·         promise to attend the entire 5-day program July 21-25
